Europe Experiences Second Warmest Winter Ever
Europe has endured the second-warmest winter this year. On record, it is exceeded only by the winter of 2019-2020. As per the data published by the European Union’s Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), the average temperature in Europe from December to February was 1.4 degrees Celsius above the 1991-2020 average for the Boreal winter season. Human-caused climate change and global warming are to be blamed for these environmental crises.
